How to Pay Rent or Fees (NT)

All rents in the Northern Territory must be paid before the anniversary date.

Schedule of Fees & Rent

Schedule of Fees & Rent has will increase the 01 July each year.
Rent will not increase for Exploration Licences granted BEFORE 07 November 2011

Rent + AMINISTRATION FEE $287 (2016)
GST no longer applies to rent in NT

Rent - Exploration Licences for tenements granted after 7 November 2011
These rent apply only to exploration licences granted on or after commencement of the Mineral Titles Act

Year 1 and Year 2$35per block
Year 3 and Year 4 $71per block
Year 5 and Year 6$143per block
Subsequent years$201per block

Rent - Exploration Licences These rents apply to exploration licences granted under the Mining Act and converted under the Mineral Titles Act, until the date on which the exploration licence is renewed or ceases to be in force. Refer Section 141 of the Mineral Titles Regulations.

Fees and Charges

How to Lodge Rent Payments in NT

The Department of Primary Industry & Resources(DPIR) Mineral Titles fees and charges can be paid at the Customer Service Counter Darwin and by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFTPOS) or credit card.
