Mining sector to benefit from amendments to Bill passed 5/3/2013, in particular petroleum tenure holders and resources activity tenure holders that will:
- simplify the conversion of petroleum wells
- remove the requirement for a water license for associated water
- remove the requirement for licences to interfere for watercourse diversion associated with resources activities
