The state of Western Australia regulates mineral rights onshore and within 3 nautical miles of the shoreline.

Actions (WA)

• Affidavit - The applicant for a prospecting licence (s52), and exploration licence (s60) is required to lodge an affidavit of service in respect of each licence sought with the mining warden within 28 days of lodging the application.
